2010 - Best Doughnuts

Readers’ Pick:

Dunkin’ Donuts

They don’t make the Dunkin’ variety anymore — that’s the cake doughnut with the little handle that makes it easier to dip — but readers still love their Dunkin’ Donuts, moving them into first place this year. We guess that’s because Dunkin’ has raised doughnuts and cake doughnuts and crullers and just about everything, including Munchkins, which solve the age-old question of what happens to the doughnut holes. Krispy Kreme finishes a doughnut-hole away in second.

Our Pick:

Winchell’s Donut House

We like all of those newfangled doughnuts, but we especially love our good old-fashioned Winchell’s, which have that slight whisper of grease (really, that’s a good thing) that tells us this is the real McCoy. And there are few better ways to start the day than with a maple-iced buttermilk bar.

Thank you RJ! I am a Vegas native, and I grew up eating Winchell’s donuts. They definitely have the best donuts in Vegas.

Dunkin’ Donuts is horribly overrated.
