There are more than a dozen Indian restaurants in the valley, but readers pick Origin India again and we’re not at all mystified, even though it’s in the tourism corridor that Las Vegans profess to avoid at any cost. There’s ease of access, ease of parking, a suitably vaguely exotic atmosphere and reliably excellent food, and that’s always a winning combination. Samosa Factory finishes a close second.

OK, we guess you can see why we’re not mystified. Origin India is our favorite, too. It has a lot of vegetarian offerings as you might expect, with a menu that mixes fairly classic dishes with the interesting creations of the chef. It even has a happy hour during which appetizers are half-price, which means even we ink-stained wretches can afford to drop in occasionally.

Origin has been the best Indian restaurant in Las Vegas since it first opened in 2006 and it just keeps getting better. Chef Kuldeep Singh has reworked the menu introducing innovative fare while still honoring traditional dishes.

This place is over priced and the service was not impressive. I went here on mother day when they first opened, and I have had better Indian food. I have been to every Indian restaurant in Vegas.I find the hole in the wall joints are the best! Family owned places are great, and I like to contribute!
