2011 - Best Diner/Coffee Shop

Readers’ Pick:

BLUEBERRY HILL

Multiple locations

Rating: 0 (from 28 votes)

Ya gotta love the way our readers go with loyalty like Blueberrry Hill and breakfast; no wonder this is another perennial favorite. This homegrown chainlet specializes in homemade favorites, and such foods as made-from-scratch pancakes and buttercream waffles speak for themselves. Some are open 24/7, so that’s a plus, too. Black Bear Diner is second.

Our Pick:

THE COFFEE CUP

512 Nevada Way, Boulder City (near Avenue B)

VN:F [1.9.11_1134]
Rating: +11 (from 19 votes)

We knew The Coffee Cup ought to be world famous even before Guy Fieri discovered it for his “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives,” because we love its location in Boulder City’s Mayberry-esque downtown and the fresh-from-the-kitchen favorites such as chicken-fried steak and eggs, meatloaf and the Dakota Burger. Whoops, we’re getting hungry.
