Readers’ Pick:

CHAPEL OF THE FLOWERS

Last year, we selected this charming little let’s-get-hitched spot, and this year you give the nod to this staple of the Vegas wedding scene — one that, despite hanging around for more than six decades, knows how to stay ahead of the technological curve. Recently introduced: Skype weddings, so if a guest can’t attend the nups in person, he or she can show up virtually. Let’s hope, though, it’s not the best man. The bride wouldn’t appreciate a virtual ring. Little Chapel of the West says “I do” to second place.

Our Pick:

VIVA LAS VEGAS WEDDING CHAPEL

1205 Las Vegas Blvd. South (near Charleston Boulevard)

Rating: +15 (from 21 votes)

Wedded bliss, western-style, is available at this chapel-as-adobe mission, with a genuine bell tower. Which is not to say you can’t have it your own way, thematically speaking — say, the packages with theatrical lighting, smoke effects, sets and costumed characters. Yes, that includes Elvis and his Blue Hawaii special, complete with hula girls. Just say thank you, pardner. Thank you very much.
