Mob Museum

While hardly romantic, Nevada residents can tour The Mob Museum for free on Valentine’s Day as part of the museum’s fifth anniversary series of celebratory events.

The museum opened Feb. 14, 2012, which coincided with the anniversary of the 1929 St. Valentine’s Day Massacre in Chicago where several members of Bugs Moran’s gang were lined up along the brick wall of a warehouse, shot and killed by Al Capone’s gang.

In addition to free admission for Nevada residents, nonlocals get a buy-one, get-one admission on Tuesday, Feb. 14. The museum is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
