Town Square Las Vegas welcomes Santa Claus and his friends Friday, Nov. 13, at 7 p.m. in a festive parade to celebrate the start of the holiday season.
Following the parade, Santa will light the 45-foot Christmas tree and snow will begin to fall. Immediately following the snowfall, children can take photos with Santa inside his house.
Spectators can view the parade, which will include performers from Nevada Ballet Theatre's The Nutcracker, as it travels along the interior streets of Town Square. The parade will start near the West Valet by Yard House and will end at the Norman Rockwell-inspired Santa house in Town Square Park. Guests can also watch the parade live via giant TV screens along Town Square West.
A reservation system for photos with Santa will be in place this year for guests to conveniently schedule the date and time of their visit. Reservations will be required for all photos including Claus & Paws pet photos. Guests can book their reservation online at www.townsquaresanta.com. Photo sessions will begin Saturday, Nov. 14. A $20 deposit is also required which will be applied towards the purchase of photos.
Town Square will continue its holiday tradition with Norman Rockwell Holidays, six life-size vignettes which will be on display throughout the center. The vignettes are interactive replicas of several covers Norman Rockwell created for The Saturday Evening Post. Informational audio will take visitors on an educational journey back in time and patrons can enjoy them at no cost. The holiday season at Town Square will bustle with activities for the whole family.
