Ferraros Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar will showcase Castello di Monsanto and Villa di Capezzana wines alongside small plates prepared by Executive Chef Francesco DiCaudo on Saturday, Feb. 25, at the next Taste & Learn event. The wine-and-food-pairing experience includes a guided tasting of four wines and takes place from 4-6 p.m. in the restaurants private dining room.
The menu pairings for the Feb. 25 Taste & Learn include:
Monsanto Chianti with Uovo alla Fiorentina (spinach, egg, pecorino di Penza)
Monsanto Chianti Classico Riserva with Cecina e Legumi (legume soup, Lacinato kale, chickpea flatbread)
Capezzana Carmignano with Gnudi (spinach and ricotta gnocchi, cannellini beans alluccelletto puree, veal jus)
Capezzana Trefiano with Quaglia Ripiena (roasted stuffed quail with lardo and sausage, rapini sautéed with garlic olive oil)
