Fighting for locals’ rights for more than fifty years

A competent lawyer has strong analytical and advocacy skills. A great lawyer can sympathize, understand and communicate with their client to meet their shared objective. The team of attorneys at Greenman, Goldberg, Raby, and Martinez have earned a reputation as a caring and competent law firm fighting for locals’ rights for more than 50 years.

John A. Greenman and Aubrey Goldberg set out their sign on a brick house near the bustling city center of Las Vegas in 1970, and ever since, GGRM continues to rank as one of the top law firms in the city.

“Our people make us stand out; the people on our staff and the people of this community we have the opportunity to serve,” said Toby Yurek, GGRM Managing Partner. “We’re continually striving to be the best and meet the needs of the injured in Southern Nevada.”

That’s one of the main reasons why GGRM is one of the oldest operating law firms in the valley. They have assisted thousands of locals in gaining maximum compensation after an accident has altered their work and personal lives.

“Our law firm views each new client as more than a transaction,” Yurek said. “It’s an opportunity to build a relationship.”
The more than a dozen attorneys at GGRM focus on establishing personal relationships with each client. They strive to provide the highest level of service that achieves the best possible results.

“We work tirelessly to meet the needs of the individual,” he said. “The vast majority of our new clients choose to hire us again and refer us to their families, friends and co-workers.”

GGRM makes a point to be a big part of the city’s many small businesses, charities and community organizations, from the LUPUS of Nevada foundation to the Henderson Little League and the Heroes, Hearts & Horses charitable event to raise funds and provide educational opportunities to police officers. Their generous gifts throughout the year have benefited thousands of locals.
“We’ve created meaningful relationships in the Las Vegas community for the last 50 years,” Yurek said. “It’s a legacy that we proudly commit to every day.”

Workers’ compensation or personal injury claims can be confusing and often intimidating to someone who has already been through a difficult situation. Employees often come to GGRM with misconceptions about the process and the purpose.

“People come to us going through what is often one of the most challenging times in their lives,” he said. “Being their advocate and counselor is meaningful and rewarding work, and it’s the common thread that runs through the people at our firm.”

The majority of GGRM’s clients have long-lasting, and often life-changing, injuries or side-effects that no settlement will truly erase. However, GGRM makes the legal process less burdensome to help ease their pain and suffering as they adjust to new circumstances and possible limitations.

“Assisting our clients in obtaining a fair settlement or a favorable verdict isn’t about the money; it’s about justice and accountability,” Yurek said. “It is about helping injured individuals regain control of their lives. The money they receive is simply the means that empower them to begin the long process of recovering both mentally and physically. It provides them with the financial security to take care of their living expenses. These can add up quickly, especially when clients cannot return to their prior work or are unable to work at all due to their injuries.”

GGRM has a reputation of being an active and amiable firm where attorneys are in continual contact with the client throughout the legal process. The restrictions from COVID have required the firm to reimagine their client communication efforts. The restrictions due to COVID may have slowed the city down, but GGRM continued its fast and steady pace to resolve cases.

“In our practice, we’ve adapted and created new ways of being in communication that has assisted as a substitute for those face-to-face interactions that are so essential in creating relationship and trust,” Yurek said. “GGRM Law Firm’s digital infrastructure provided the means to continue to meet the needs of our clients through the different phases of quarantine. We continued to fight to keep the wheels of justice turning to guarantee that our clients were getting their ‘day in court,’ even if it was telephonically. Many things in our community came to a grinding halt, but we at GGRM never stopped fighting for our clients.”
