Get Locked Down in Vegas' #1 Escape Room

Escape rooms are a very popular way to spend time with friends, challenge the mind and simply have a great time.

The three Lockdown Escape Rooms in Las Vegas are recognized as being some of the best, most-challenging in the region. Each one is highly designed with unique puzzles, relevant storylines and intricate plots. Once locked inside, groups will work together to crack codes, find clues and solve mysteries to get out.

“Escape Rooms are so popular because there is really nothing comparable in the entertainment world,” said Melissa Orme, Lockdown’s director of social media. “Guests are able to submerge themselves into the game while creating irreplaceable memories with friends, family or even by team building with coworkers.”

Lockdown Escape Rooms offers Hollywood level lighting and sound for a fully immersive experience. It’s not just about solving the problems in one hour or less, but testing the visitors problem-solving skills, mental finesse and intelligence.

“Lockdown is different in many ways,” Orme said. “Most all of our management staff worked in the hospitality industry for numerous years, so unrivaled customer service and satisfaction is our top priority. We do not pair our guests with strangers the way other companies do, and we are also not a franchise.”

Not being a franchise gives Lockdown the ability to open multiple locations with a variety of themes. These include Pharaoh’s Curse where participants enter a pharaoh’s tomb; gaining entrance is easy, but nobody ever escapes. In Wrongfully Accused, guests are sentenced to death for multiple murders and must escape the prison before the sentence is carried out.

Other themes include Cursed Cabin, Crazy Professor, Hostage Rescue, Mob Boss Room, Underworld, Western and Mayan escape rooms. There is also a large group challenge, allowing groups to compete against each other.

Lockdown Escape Rooms can also plan special events for bachelor and bachelorette parties, school and club field trips and more. Want a unique and memorable way to propose to the love of your life? Imagine them finding an engagement ring at the end of a challenge.

“Proposals are definitely some of our favorites,” Orme said. “When Spencer (Hager) proposed to his girlfriend, we incorporated the ring into our Theft Room. “She was totally shocked when she found the ring, and everything went off perfectly.”

“It was very romantic and something they will remember for the rest of their lives,” she added.

The themes do change occasionally, and employees are often integral in those escape room designs. The Underworld Room at the Flamingo location is one designed completely by employees.

Anyone who is ready to escape everyday stresses and live in the moment with a group of friends, family, co-workers or complete strangers will enjoy Lockdown Escape Rooms. They are located on Sahara, Highland and Flamingo roads in Las Vegas. There are additional locations in Phoenix, Ariz. and San Diego.
